Making Millionaires: 7 Reasons Why You Can’t Stop ‘The Entourage’ Movement
Last weekend I attended ‘The Young Entrepreneurs Unconvention’, a one day event placed on by ‘The Entourage’. No, not it stars from your U.S tv program (although you could draw many similarities between the characters with the show and people in The Entourage).
The Entrouage is ‘Australia’s largest group of real entrepreneurs and executives under 35'. Their whole philosophy involves teaching young entrepreneurs the skills they need to reach your goals in business, by those who have ‘been there, done that’. No theory. Just real world experience. You can hear the university lecturers trembling thinking.
Headed by Jack Delosa, The Entourage is creating a movement among young entrepreneurs. The big event on the weekend provided an incredible opportunity for entrepreneurs to network, develop ideas and share stories regarding their ups and downs running a business. The movement is starting to snowball, here’s seven main reasons why it’s one big freakin’ snowball that can’t be stopped:
They get sh*t done enjoy yourself - That was the attitude of the group all weekend, the other which has stuck with me since. You will need both to achieve business, particularly for young entrepreneurs. Take business seriously, but be aware that the ride is one of the journey. Have fun here and enjoy yourself!
They have driven leaders using a big goal - If you call yourself ‘The Billionaire Boys’, you’d better be motivated to kick some serious arse in operation. That’s what Jack Delosa and the team have looking for themselves. They are fully aware what clients meet, they’ve made it clear to everyone to keep themselves accountable and so they know what they must do in order to achieve it.
They’ve built a tribe so entrepreneurs can come - One with the first stuff that hit me was way these were able to make you would like to be part of their mission. They create you're feeling welcome and instantly part of their tribe if you’re a new entrepreneur with big dreams. Just how do they do it? Encouragement of associates, your own personal nickname, getting into on inside jokes and genuine appreciation of the effort.
It’s not about them - Once the person with average skills mentions an entrepreneur, most think about Gordon Gecko from Wall St; selfish, only loves earning profits and will screw over whoever they need to to have ahead. Not today’s young entrepreneurs. It was pay off the Entourage place the event on for young businesspeople to help them improve, grow and develop so they really could take their ventures to the next level. They are fully aware the main element to success is serving others prior to deciding to serve yourself.
They know individuals will do more for recognition compared to they will for the money - Like a volunteer crew member on the weekend, I obtained participate an extremely cool group of people. Not many teenagers would give up their entire Saturday propose at an event cost-free. When you get to hang around these individuals, the power is electric and the level they perform is very high. Alex Pirouz, the wedding organiser and manager from the crew recognised every associates effort in front of the group and picked out the very best characteristics he saw in each us. I know each crew member would help again in the second because they each felt important and the main team. How often do observe that in a job?
They network similar to their business depends upon it - The Entourage enjoy a wide spread network of business people including a few of Australia’s most commonly known entrepreneurs. Names like Siimon Reynolds, Janine Allis and Creel Price take presctiption that list. Once you’re ‘in’ with one high quality, the others come easily. These guys have the experience to draw on to keep this movement growing.
They work really, very difficult - It requires a large amount of work to construct an event. This option made it happen in four weeks (and so they did it form another state). Their work ethic expires there with the best I’ve seen. Early mornings, late nights and a lot of time ensuring everything would go to plan. Success is approximately showing up and doing the proper things. The Entourage does both with passion, energy as well as an attitude of “Why the hell not?”
