Chances are you struggle (like I do) with finding good keywords. Actually, it’s not a problem finding them. Most of what I find are just not good enough.

When I used Google’s keyword tool I trusted the results 100%. I mean, they wouldn’t be telling fibs about their data, would they? Sadly, that’s not always how it goes.

What you see (the data) is not what you get. However it would have been when they collated it. I stumbled across the solution to this particular conundrum.

I was going for a keyword that had roughly five thousand competing pages. I was pretty sure I could get a good result with that keyword. So I set out putting articles out. Lots of articles.

Not long after I saw that there were now almost nine thousand competing sites. I could hardly believe that. Had there been some mistake? I was relieved to see that an awful lot of these competitors were showing my articles.

I would have definitely avoided this key phrase had I saw 9000 competing web pages. As a lot of them were mine (or had my article on) I was competing against my self most of the time. A great result in the end for that key phrase.

I got lucky on that keyword but I suspected I may not get lucky again so I made the decision to try out a keyword research service. Getting a daily list of quality keywords sent is something that appeals to me. Balancing cost against time taken (by me) seemed to prove it could be a valuable asset.

Of the keyword research services on offer I opted to try Travis Sago’s Instacash. After all, he’s the king of the bum marketers. And bum marketing really appeals to me.

If I can get a keyword or two in my in box each day then that saves me valuable time. At least a two hour saving. An hour or two of my time is highly valuable to me when all I have is time. For what the service costs each day against my 2 hours means I’m getting huge value.

Outsourcing, outsourcing, outsourcing. Seems to be all you hear from the gurus of internet marketing. And what I’m trying here is simply that. I’m giving my keyword research to someone else to do. That’s outsourcing.

Do you wanna know how it went with the Instacash service? Get on over to my website and I’ll tell you. Earlier I mentioned that I ended up with thousands of articles on websites for a certain keyword. I’ll let you into that little secret on my site.
